In the year 1000, the 300 inhabitants in Fet worshipped the god Thor and asked him to help them obtain bigger harvests.

Extended families lived in longhouses on the Borgen farm, the Hovin farm, the Ramstad farm and the other large farms in Fet.

In 1022 King Olav Haraldsson came to Romerike along with his army. He beat the local people in battle, demanded they converted to Christianity or else --- and Fet and Romerike were changed forever.
