- ... Elsewhere in Europe the situation was becoming less stable, there was talk of war on many fronts.
- ... It was a modern and powerful unit that was mobilized in 1905.
- ... And in the fall of 1905 10.5 and 7.5 cm batteries were sent to Fetsund.

Norwegian-Swedish cooperation
Oscarsborg was to stop the intruders coming at the capitol from the south. The Glomma line was to protect Kristiania from a land attack.
In the period from 1898-1900 the batteries in Fet were built.
