Fetsund 18.9.95

In the middle of June there was a huge flood in Norway in Østlandet.

In Fetsund there is a place called Øya which was hit by the flood but not as hard hit as Tretten.

One day Kjetil and I were going to sell raffle tickets at Rimi but we remembered that Rimi was closed because of the flood so we went to Fedrelandet. The whole footbal field was covered in water. So we biked over to Fethallen and they were pumping water out of the hall. A little ways away there were some national guardsmen that were taking a little break. Some people were taking pictures of the flood. After a few days we heard that one of our games was cancelled because of the flood. I didn't have any problems during the flood because I live way up on Garderåsen.

Warm Regards Magne
