Hi!

During the flood in the Glomma I stayed at home for the most part. I live so high up that the water doesn't come up to where I live. Helicopters were flying 24 hours a day. For two days my dad helped build a rampart. He worked from early in the morning until late at night. When we were going to buy food we either had to go to a little store just below us here or take some detours. We went out to see the flood one day. The water had gone over half the road. The water was very brown. We couldn't drink the water because it was very dirty, so we bought water. I watched the news every day. There was almost no place left to swim. When we were at our cabin during summer vacation we couldn't swim because the water was so dirty. We couldn't have a graduation party for our class because the gym and entertainment center was being used to store pianos and other things. We are going to take the graduation party and change into a school start party instead. The flood started in about the middle of June.

PS..write back soon

Greetings Catrine
