We are informed by the Admiralty that in pursuance of his Majesty’s pleasure King Haakon VII. of Norway, G.C.B., G.C.V.O, has been promoted to the rank of Honorary Admiral in his Majesty’s Fleet, with seniority of November 25.
The Danish royal yacht Dannebrog, with King Haakon and Queen Maud of Norway on board, passed the Skaw at nine o’clock yesterday morning.
A subscription which was opened for a present to Queen Maud from the ladies of Christiania and the neighbourhood reached the total of £1,222.
