CARL V. OF NORWAY

COPENHAGEN, Wednesday, Nov. 15.

The deputation from the Storthing to offer the crown of Norway to Prince Charles will leave Christiania on Friday on board a Norwegian warship.

We have received the following telegram from Copenhagen: --

"To the Editor of the ‘Daily Mail,’ London. Prince and Princess Charles thank you very much for the kind congratulations."

CHRISTIANIA, Wednesday, Nov. 15

According to the "Aftenpost" this evening, Prince Charles will take the title of Carl V., there being no question of a change of name.

It has been decided, the journal adds, that the royal flag shall in future be a golden lion on a purple field. - Reuter.
